Every course: CA: 30 marks (tests, assignments, quizzes) + Exam: 70 marks. Total out of 100.
QP = Credit Units × Grade Point. E.g. a B (GP 4) in a 3-unit course = 3 × 4 = 12 QP.
GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Units for the semester. E.g. 66 QP ÷ 17 CU = 3.88.
CGPA = Σ(All QP) ÷ Σ(All CU) across every semester from 100L onwards.
Minimum pass mark at ABUAD is 45% aggregate = Grade D (GP 2). Grades E and F are official fail grades.
Failed courses (E or F) must be repeated. Both attempts count in CGPA unless department has specific carry-over rules.
