Every set on this page is written from scratch by ABUAD students who have already passed the course, working from their own lecture notes and revision. They are original practice questions modelled on the style and structure of real assessments — not official university examination papers, not leaked material, and not affiliated with the university's testing administration.

How to actually use these practice sets
Most students open a question set the night before an exam, read the answers, feel reassured, and then freeze in the hall. Recognising an answer is not the same as being able to produce one. These sets are built for the second thing.
Every set here follows the same shape: questions grouped by topic, then worked answers with the reasoning shown rather than just the final letter or term. That structure exists so you can cover the answers, attempt the question cold, and then check how your reasoning differed — which is where the actual learning happens.
A revision sequence that works
Attempt cold, on paper
Cover the answers. Write your response out fully, in the words you would use in the hall. If you cannot start a question, that topic is your revision priority — not the ones you already enjoy.
Mark yourself honestly
Compare against the worked answer and note the gap in one line: wrong fact, missed step, or right idea badly expressed. Those three failures need three different fixes.
Go back to the source
For every gap, return to your lecture notes or textbook for that specific concept. Practice questions show you where you are weak; they are not a substitute for the material itself.
Re-attempt after a delay
Come back two or three days later and redo only the questions you got wrong. Spacing the second attempt is what moves a topic into recall you can rely on under pressure.
How these sets are written
Each set is put together by an ABUAD student who has already sat and passed that course, working from their own lecture notes, tutorials and revision material. They write questions in the format the course actually assesses — short-answer and definition-style where the course tests recall, calculation-based where it tests method, practical identification where the lab work demands it.
That authorship matters for two reasons. The first is relevance: someone who sat the paper knows which topics carry weight and which are mentioned once and never examined. The second is honesty about limits — these are not the questions you will be asked. They cover the same material in the same style, which is what makes them useful for revision, but no one on this site has access to any current or future examination paper.
On academic integrity: we do not publish leaked papers, and we will not host material that circulates a live exam. If you believe any set here reproduces official examination content, tell us and we will take it down while we check. Sitting an exam with material you were not supposed to have is a route to losing your place at the university — it is not worth it, and it is not what this page is for.
What is covered so far
The current six sets concentrate on the courses students ask about most — the pharmacy and basic medical sciences sequence, where the volume of content is highest and structured practice makes the most difference:
- Anatomy — ANA 252, embryology and neuroanatomy, with a guide alongside the questions.
- Pharmacognosy — PCG 212, practical work, question-and-answer format.
- Pharmaceutical chemistry — PCH 202, inorganic, questions plus a study guide.
- Pharmaceutical preparations — PCT 202, calculation-heavy, worked through step by step.
- Dispensing — PCT 212, practical II, questions with a study guide.
- Medical biochemistry — BCH 216, a full practice workbook with answers.
New sets are added each semester as students finish courses and write up what they revised from. If a course you need is missing, that usually means nobody has written it up yet — and if you have just passed it, you are the person best placed to.

If you have passed a course and kept your revision material, you can write the set for it. The requirement is simple: the questions must be yours, written from your own notes and understanding, with answers you can explain rather than only assert. Common questions
Are these real ABUAD past questions?
No. They are original practice questions written by students who passed the course, modelled on the style and structure of real assessments. We do not publish official examination papers.
Will the questions in my exam be the same as these?
No, and you should not revise as though they will. Use them to find the gaps in your understanding of the syllabus, then close those gaps from your lecture material.
Do the sets include answers?
Yes. Every set includes worked answers with the reasoning shown, so you can see where your own approach diverged rather than just whether you landed on the right result.
Is this free?
Yes. Every set on this page is free to read and free to download, with no account required.
My course is not here. When will it be added?
We add sets as students volunteer them, so there is no fixed schedule. Courses in the pharmacy and basic medical sciences sequence are covered first because that is where demand is highest.
