Search "ABUAD courses and departments" and every result gives you the same thing: a flat alphabetical list with no grouping, no college structure, and zero acknowledgment that some of these lists are years out of date. Several of the top results still list Physics, Zoology, and Sports Science as ABUAD courses. They are not.
We went further than copying one page. We checked ABUAD's live college pages against its official admissions subject-combination document, and they do not always match. Agricultural Engineering shows up on one and not the other. Dentistry has a full entry-requirement listing in one place and is missing entirely from another. Public Administration, same story. This guide flags exactly where the contradictions are, not just what one page says.

1. How ABUAD is actually organized
ABUAD runs six undergraduate colleges, plus a College of Postgraduate Studies, plus separate Open Distance Learning and Part-Time directorates for a smaller subset of programmes.

Several aggregator sites claim ABUAD has 7 or 8 colleges, including a standalone "College of Agriculture" and "College of Arts and Humanities." Neither exists in ABUAD's actual site navigation. 2. College of Sciences
Eleven undergraduate programmes run here, including three you will not find on most course-list sites: Cyber Security, Data Science, and Software Engineering. These three were added after ABUAD's last published subject-combination document, so the exact required subjects are not on record anywhere official. Confirm with the College of Sciences before applying for any of these three.

If you are searching for "Mass Communication" or "Banking and Finance" at ABUAD, neither title exists by that exact name anymore. 4. College of Medicine and Health Sciences (beyond MBBS)
For MBBS, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratory Science cut-off marks and fees in full detail, see the Medicine, Nursing & Pharmacy guide. This college also runs several Allied Health and Basic Medical Science programmes that most course-list sites leave out entirely.

MBBS now runs as an "Intercalated Degree" structure. Strong students can pick up an extra B.Sc in Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, or Pharmacology along the way to their medical degree, all inside the same 7-year programme.

7. Where ABUAD's own pages disagree
This is worth reading carefully before you submit your JAMB form. ABUAD's website has internal contradictions that no other guide has flagged.
Agricultural Engineering: 10 programmes or 9?
ABUAD's College of Engineering page lists 10 B.Eng programmes, including Agricultural Engineering. The official admissions subject-combination document lists only 9. Agricultural Engineering has no entry-requirement row at all. If a programme has no row in the document that actually governs how you pick your UTME subjects, it may not be selectable through the normal application route — even though the university markets it on a different page. Confirm with the College of Engineering before you apply specifically for this one.
Dentistry: listed, then not listed
The subject-combination document has a complete UTME and O'Level row for B.DS Dentistry. The live College of Medicine and Health Sciences page does not mention it among its active programmes. We could not find a single 2025 or 2026-cycle JAMB cut-off list, news article, or admissions update confirming that Dentistry is actively taking students. Do not treat this as a yes or a no. Verify before applying.
Public Administration: same pattern
Public Administration has a full entry-requirement row in the subject-combination document. It does not appear in the College of Social and Management Sciences' 11-course list on the live site. Same advice: check before you apply.
Performing Arts and the "College of Arts and Humanities"
The subject-combination document treats "College of Arts and Humanities" as a separate college, with Performing Arts listed underneath it. ABUAD's site navigation has no college by that name. The College of Social and Management Sciences says Performing Arts sits inside its Humanities faculty, but does not list it among its actual courses. A February 2025 ABUAD news post mentioned newly approved postgraduate Performing Arts programmes, so the department is real. Which college runs it on paper? Unclear from anything ABUAD has published.
The top sites ranking for ABUAD's course list right now do not mention any of these four contradictions. They list whichever version they found first and move on. That is the single biggest gap in everything published about ABUAD's course offerings. {alertInfo}
8. Fees: verified vs estimated
ABUAD's live fee schedule sits behind a matriculation-number login on the student portal. We were not able to get a confirmed figure for every course the way we did for Medicine, Law, and Engineering, where portal screenshots from enrolled students gave us exact numbers.
For courses outside those three, treat the figures below as rough estimates pulled from third-party aggregator sites. They are not confirmed portal figures.

9. Professional accreditation by course
ABUAD's admissions FAQ says it is mandatory for students to pursue professional certification in Banking, Accounting, ICT, Marketing, Engineering, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Arbitration alongside their degree. Two specific accreditations have been confirmed beyond that general policy.

Direct Entry candidates need either 2 relevant A-Level, IJMB, or JUPEB passes, an Upper Credit ND or HND in a related discipline, or NCE at Merit level in a related discipline. All Direct Entry students go straight into 200 Level.
ABUAD runs its own JUPEB programme as a feeder route for every college, not just the sciences. JUPEB covers subject combinations across Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Management, so you can use it to enter Economics or Political Science the same way you would use it for Engineering or Medicine.
