Agreement to These Terms
Welcome to Everything ABUAD ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at everythingabuad.com (the "Site"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site, including our articles, guides, free student tools, comment sections, and newsletter.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
About the Site & Non-Affiliation
Everything ABUAD is an independent, student-led and alumni-driven platform providing academic resources, campus life guides, news, and student-focused content related to Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD).
We are not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by Afe Babalola University. All content on the Site is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for official university guidance. For official information, always consult abuad.edu.ng or the appropriate university office.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Post or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or invasive of another person's privacy;
- Impersonate any person or entity, including university staff or the Everything ABUAD team;
- Copy, scrape, republish, or redistribute our content without permission, or use automated tools to extract content from the Site;
- Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site, its servers, or its security features;
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, or infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
Free Student Tools
The Site offers free interactive tools such as the CGPA Calculator, Assignment Tracker, and Pomodoro Timer. These tools are provided "as is" for your convenience. Any data you enter is stored only in your own browser's local storage — we do not see it, back it up, or guarantee it will be preserved (for example, clearing your browser data will erase it).
The tools are study aids, not official records. Always verify results (such as calculated CGPAs) against your official university records. We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on these tools.
Comments & User Content
Our comment sections are powered by Google Blogger's built-in comment system. By posting a comment, you confirm that it is your own work, that it does not violate these Terms, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Site.
We may review, moderate, or remove any comment at our sole discretion, without notice, particularly comments that are offensive, misleading, spammy, or unlawful. Views expressed in comments and guest contributions belong solely to their authors and do not represent Everything ABUAD or Afe Babalola University.
Newsletter
You may voluntarily subscribe to our email newsletter, which is managed through Mailchimp. By subscribing, you consent to receive periodic emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Our handling of your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.
